Hi, this is Dean Calin.  I was born and raised in Chicago and enjoyed the cosmopolitan atmosphere of one of our nation's largest cities.  I have been involved in entertainment and writing since I was young.  (I performed at the local renaissance faire and I was first published - content for the "Star Trek Medical Reference" - at 16.)

I work in the aerospace industry where I've spent about 30 years primarily buying and selling commercial aircraft parts to airlines, manufacturers and heavy maintenance facilities.  In 1998 I joined with some partners in the creation of TradeAir, a revolutionary B2B trading portal for commercial aerospace components.  This venture was recognized by Forbes Magazine and  Price-Waterhouse and had reached through all levels of the supply chain.
